There are three buttons on the front of the cube. Connecting four cubes in a straight vertical or horizontal row will trigger a special animation.Įventually, if left alone, they will fall asleep and the cube will shut off. A cube can hold a maximum of four stick men. Eventually they will return to their own cubes (or instantly teleport back if you physically separate them).Ĭubes can be connected in any pattern like building blocks. Sometimes they play together, sometimes prank each other, and often times fights will break out. If you connect two or more cubes together (via built in magnets), the stick men will leave their own cubes and cross over into the other cubes to visit their neighbors. If you leave the little guy alone, he will amuse himself with whatever toy he owns, or work at his job if he has one. You can play games with him by pressing buttons below the screen. You can tumble the stick man around his home by tilting the cube.

I suggest bringing the note and your cube wherever you go to practice it. Instead of watching the video to find the algorithms (btw this is like common sense so I’m pretty sure you guys already did this), write down the algorithm notation on a piece of paper or notes app, screenshot it, etc. One thing about WIRED’s video is that it’s easier to study algorithms because it already introduces the cube notation in the beginning.
